Debra was raised in the North Shore and moved to the Gold Coast after graduating from Sarah Lawrence College in New York. She earned her Series Seven to become a licensed stockbroker and worked on the Chicago Board Options Exchange for three years before venturing into real estate in 1985. In 1999 she formed a real estate partnership with her husband James Weinberg, who offers their clients the benefit of his background in finance.
