A professional opera singer for 15 years, Carol Ann combines a diverse background and unique perspective to the upper bracket market. A rare combination of being multi-lingual (fluent in Italian, conversant in French and German), accreditation from the National Association of Realtors as an ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative), and the unique experience of living abroad and performing for opera companies and symphony orchestras world wide all combine to make Carol Ann excel at the luxury home market in Chicago's Gold Coast and Lincoln Park neighborhoods.

Active in professional organizations, Carol Ann is a member of the Women's Council of Realtors, REBAC (Real Estate Buyers Action Council), FIABCI (Federation of International Property Specialists) and has been a guest speaker on the panel of "Real Estate All Stars" at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Business. Carol Ann also serves on the Professional Standards Grievance Board of the Chicago Association of Realtors, and is a REALTOR representative on the City of Chicago Re-Zoning Sub Committee of the Chicago Association of Realtors.

A graduate of the Governor's School of North Carolina, Carol Ann also holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Voice Performance from Stetson University and a Master of Music Degree in Voice Performance from the prestigious Indiana University School of Music.

Delighting in the responsibility of raising a child in a downtown city environ, Carol Ann has first hand knowledge of the public and private school choices available in the City of Chicago.

A winner in the Metropolitan Opera Voice Competition, whether performing for 10,000 or negotiating for 1, Carol Ann has the skills, training and background necessary to be an effective advocate for her clients.

About Charlotte

Charlotte Newberger is one of the superstars of Chicago Real Estate. She was a founding partner of Beliard, Gordon and Partners, which was one of the city's leading residential real estate firms (winner of the Chicago Association of Realtors’ Lifetime Achievement Award in 2005). Charlotte has over 35 years of experience helping buyers and sellers find the perfect home; her in-depth knowledge of the Chicago market, combined with her sensitivity to the personal needs of each client, makes her an indispensable advisor to first-time and seasoned homeowners alike.

An honored and dynamic force in the community at large, Charlotte is a strong supporter of numerous philanthropic, political and arts-related activities, both locally and nationally. She was a board member at the inception of several Chicago theatres, including the St. Nicholas Theater and National Jewish Theater, of which she was also President. She spent nearly 18 years on the board of the award-winning Steppenwolf Theatre, as well as on the advisory board of The Poetry Center. She supports a poetry prize for Lilith Magazine, and is one of the two founders of a literary grant for writers in the Midwest. She is a former President of the Foundation for Jewish Culture. Charlotte is also a founder and partner of the Heartland Health and Fitness Spa in Gillman, Illinois.

Charlotte is the mother of two grown daughters who were raised in the city's Lakeview neighborhood, giving her first-hand experience with many of Chicago's facilities and services. Her professional real estate designations include CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist), SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist), ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative), and FIABCI (Federation of International Property Specialist). A leader and innovator, energetic in all her pursuits, Charlotte brings her significant experience, savvy and easy-to-work-with manner to each of her clients.
