A native Chicagoan, Janet grew up on the Northwest side. She attended grade school in the city, then moved to the suburbs for high school. Immediately upon graduating with a B.A. degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, she made a beeline back to the city, where she has lived ever since, living in Roscoe Village since 1996.

Janet is an avid gardener, participating each year in the Roscoe Village Garden Walk. She also loves to bike, antique and collect art. Prior to working in real estate, Janet spent years in advertising -- on the agency side and selling ad space. She also designed a successful line of jewelry that was marketed throughout the country.
