Maureen began her real estate career in January 1993 and ranks in the top 1% of Realtors in Chicago. A Chicago resident since 1989, she has in-depth knowledge of Chicago's neighborhoods with a focus on the near north side, including the Gold Coast, Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Bucktown, and from the South Loop to Ravenswood. Keenly aware that the transitions brought on by buying and selling real estate are usually also accompanied by one or more other significant changes in a client’s life, Maureen does all she can to make the process less stressful. She does this by putting her clients’ goals at the center: responding quickly and honestly, offering an analytic assessment of the market with the highest level of service and communication. Embracing the fiduciary responsibility of her role, Maureen is mindful to be discreet with her client's interests and respect their privacy. Maureen is passionate about living in Chicago and loves introducing relocating executives and city dwellers to the neighborhoods, whether they are first time buyers or moving up to their next home.

Maureen knows the neighborhood markets. When representing buyers, Maureen advises them not to buy something that would be difficult to sell when they decide to move on. She’ll work to educate and advocate for her clients to make their home purchases with confidence, with regard to their needs and for a good price. When representing sellers, Maureen works with them to prepare their home for the market, creates high quality compelling print and web-based marketing, communicate regular feedback from showings and market activity and negotiate on their behalf for the most favorable terms and price. Maureen has been interviewed as an expert in the market by the National Association of Realtors, Realtor magazine, Illinois Realtor Magazine and selected for Metro Chicago Agent Magazine's "40 under 40" 2007 Edition. Maureen has also served on the Women’s Council of Realtors. A success in real estate, Maureen has been inducted to the Prudential Rubloff Leading Edge Society in 2009 and the President's Circle in 2010.

An Illinois native and a graduate of Northeastern Illinois University, Maureen worked in the fields of education and fund raising before becoming a Realtor. Maureen is an active member of the National Association of Realtors, the Illinois Association of Realtors, the Chicago Association of Realtors and an NAR e-pro Certified Internet Specialist. Maureen is an active supporter of various community grass-roots organizations that work with homeless and underprivileged youth. She enjoys running, golf, skiing and swimming with her husband John and their son Sean.
