Lora Perlman is a prominent Chicago real estate broker with a specialty in luxury properties. Ms. Perlman earned her real estate license in 1973, and was one of Chicago's youngest agents in the business at the time.

As she moved up the industry ladder, Ms. Perlman consistently strove for success. She is recognized as a leader, with a cumulative record of more than $200 million in sales. Prior to joining Prudential Rubloff, Ms. Perlman served 18 years as a sales associate with Koenig & Strey GMAC Real Estate and 10 years as an agent with American Invsco. One of the highlights of her career was her work on the original conversion of Lake Point Tower from rentals to condos in 1986.

Ms. Perlman's "client first" philosophy is legendary. She attributes much of her success to her complete dedication to clients' home-related needs. Her commitment to learning about new neighborhoods, absorbing new technologies, and extensive knowledge of financing, negotiating, marketing and networking have enabled her to consistently achieve beyond expectations. She also has extensive experience with new construction and rehabbed properties, condominium conversions, residential building management and home staging.

In addition to professional affiliations, Lora is a past member of the Illinois Chapter of Volunteer Optometric Service for Humanity (VOSH), of which her father was a co-founder. VOSH members travel the world, donating time to examining the eyes of the poor in third world countries and fitting them with donated eye glasses. Ms. Perlman and her husband, Bob Blend, also run Home on Time, Inc., a construction company dedicated to rehabbing and building on the north side for the past 10 years. They were presented with a Good Neighbor Award by the Chicago Association of Realtors for outstanding contributions to Chicago area communities for single family rehabbed properties.

She holds a B.A. in Spanish from Southern Illinois University, and attended the Universidad de Valencia in Spain.
