For over 35 years, Chris Eigel has been a strong presence in Chicagoland's residential real estate marketplace. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago. Formerly president and CEO of Koenig & Strey GMAC Real Estate, Mr. Eigel helped that company grow from 60 agents and $90 million in sales volume when he joined to nearly 1200 agents and $5 billion in sales volume when he left at the end of 2006.

Mr. Eigel and former Koenig & Strey GMAC executive Michael Pierson embarked on a bold venture by acquiring the nine-office firm of Prudential Preferred Properties. In 2009, they took another major step by acquiring the eighty-year old firm, Rubloff Residential Properties. This powerful combination has resulted in one of the leading residential real estate brands in Chicagoland.

Mr. Eigel is a past president of the North Shore Barrington Association of Realtors and has been named the Association's Realtor of the Year. He has spoken on real estate subjects at the local, state, and national levels.

Chris and his wife Carolyn are nearly life-long residents of the North Shore and have three grown children and numerous grandchildren. Their daughter, Amy Eigel Reynolds, joined the company when it was started and is a sales associate in the Lincoln Park Office and assists with training as well. Daughter-in-law, Karoline Eigel has been with the firm since its acquisition and is the Director of Luxury and Development Marketing.
