Elissa began selling real estate after a successful career in public relations and journalism, believing that her skills in customer service, marketing and reporting would enhance her ability to help clients navigate the home buying and selling process.

Raising two sons on the North Shore has kept her in touch with local suburban communities, from Evanston to Lake Forest. Her many years of volunteer work on the board of a not-for-profit, grassroots healthcare agency in Chicago have contributed to her knowledge of the city, its varied neighborhoods and he issues facing its residents.

Elissa graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned her master’s degree in print reporting from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. After working as a reporter for the Wisconsin State Journal in Madison, Elissa began her career in public relations working for such clients as Proctor and Gamble, Abbott Laboratories and Eli Lilly.
