Martha is straightforward and honest in her approach to real estate and her relationship with others. She has a great deal of experience relieving the fears and concerns of sellers and first-time buyers, taking the time to educate them on the selling or buying process, while assuring they never feel overwhelmed. Martha's experience extends to working with seniors; she has helped many make the transition from their home to condo or retirement facility living and understands the special challenges and stresses involved. Martha’s creativity allows her to find solutions to challenges and help her clients reach their goals with a minimum of stress. Although she has a tremendous ability to keep track of details, this never causes her to lose sight of the big picture.

Martha earned her B.A. in Communication Arts from the University of Cincinnati. She also earned her Associates of Applied Science in Interior Design from the Harrington Institute of Interior Design in Chicago. She uses this training in interior design as she markets homes for sellers and to assist buyers in seeing each home’s possibilities. Her Communication degree focused on marketing as well as corporate and interpersonal communication--all of which she uses daily.

Martha has been in real estate since 1992 and worked in mortgages before earning her real estate license. She keeps abreast of all the latest mortgage lending guidelines which helps her guide clients through the frequent industry changes. Prior to real estate, she worked for an architectural firm in Chicago and for a Social Service agency in Evanston doing public relations, grant writing, and administrative work. Community involvement has been a significant part of Martha's life. She served on the Board of Directors of First Night Evanston for 10 years, taught many children to swim at the YMCA, and has been very involved at her church, currently co-chairing the church's huge rummage sales. Martha is proud to have earned a place in Leading Edge Society, placing her in the top 7% of Prudential Real Estate agents nationally.
