Helping you accurately estimate the value of a property is probably the most important task of a real estate agent. Gibson’s diverse real estate career has provided him with a unique perspective from which to analyze a wide range of residential markets and effectively communicate the rationale for his recommendations.
Born and raised in Chicago, in what the locals liked to call North Beverly, Gibson began his real estate career in 1979 as an appraiser for St Paul Federal Savings after graduating from Cornell University. The next 30+ years and saw the continuation of a successful real estate career as an appraiser, developer, investor, and owner/broker of a boutique real estate brokerage.
In 2010 Gibson joined the Hinsdale office of Prudential Rubloff Properties. But the job of a real estate agent is still the same: Finding and negotiating the best possible deal for our clients. And doing that requires daily enthusiastic attention to market trends, competent manipulation of current technology, effective communication skills, and a willingness to listen, listen, listen.
Many Chicagoans develop successful business relations with fellow alumni. Gibson’s experience has been quite similar, leading him to join the award winning Realty Consultants Team of Elaine Pagels, Ron Hilt, and Lucy Hilt.
