The village of Barrington and surrounding communities, known collectively as the Barrington Countryside (Lake Barrington, North Barrington, Deer Park, Barrington Hills, South Barrington, Tower Lakes and Inverness), enjoy over 90 square miles of breathtaking natural beauty in a convenient northwest suburban location. Transportation
Metra express ride time to the Chicago Loop is just under 50 minutes from the Barrington Station. Three bus lines provide service to the train station. Drivers connect with the Northwest Tollway (I-90) via Barrington Road (Illinois 59).
Schools
Most students attend schools in District 220 through seven elementary, two middle and one high school. Three Catholic high schools and a Catholic grammar school also serve the area and surrounding communities.
