CHICAGO (January XX, 2008) – Matt Silver, a top real estate agent with Rubloff Residential Properties, has been named Dean of the Illinois Association of REALTORS (IAR) REALTOR Institute. The IAR REALTOR Institute, which provides high quality educational programs designed to increase the knowledge of real estate professionals statewide, has seen only two Chicago area agents named Dean since its inception in 1916.

As Dean of the IAR, Silver will lead the Board of Governors of the REALTORS Institute in planning, executing and overseeing the Graduate REALTOR Institute (GRI) Program in Illinois. Silver will also be responsible for the promotion of the REALTOR Institute to ensure that it meets all certification mandates from the National Association of REALTORS.

Matt Silver said of the announcement, “It is an honor to have been nominated and named Dean from among my peers at the IAR REALTOR Institute. I look forward to maintaining and promoting the Institute’s reputation of excellence among realtors in Illinois.”

Matt Silver has worked in real estate since 1998 and has earned several professional designations: the ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative), GRI (Graduate, REALTOR Institute) and CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist), CRS (Council of Residential Specialists). He is also QSC (Quality Service Certified) and is a member of the National, State and Chicago boards of REALTORS. Matt was also recently elected to the board of Governors for the Realtor Institute of Illinois.
