All team members carry BlackBerrys and they strive to respond to clients quickly and consistently.  Frank is also fairly certain that he is the only agent on the North Shore, and possibly in all of Illinois, who prepares a fabulous Italian feast as a thank you for buyers and their friends once the sale is complete!  North Shore home sellers receive the same impeccable service and dedication from Frank.When he obtains a listing Frank and his team prepare and present a three-week marketing plan detailing all the steps involved in giving the home maximum exposure to potential buyers and agents in the area. He stays in touch with the sellers, making sure they are advised of everything being done on their behalf.

When a client lists a home with the Capitaninis Trish immediately goes to work with her team, staging and organizing the home to show it off to its best advantage. Drawing on her merchandising experience, she does everything and anything necessary to bump up sales appeal. "We´ll pack boxes, organize any room or rearrange personal items, resulting in an amazing transformation within the home.  Whatever it takes-my team and I will make it happen!" proclaims Trish. She also oversees the creation of a customized marketing plan and all necessary marketing materials for each seller.

Frank Capitanini, GRI, QSC
Making the transition from working with his family at Chicago´s venerable Italian Village restaurant to working with his wife, Trish, selling North Shore real estate was a logical one for Frank Capitanini. "The things that I learned while helping run the restaurant-recognizing every employee´s contribution to the process, overseeing repair and maintenance, making sure that no detail was overlooked-are invaluable in our real estate business," says Frank."I go into every home before our buyers submit an offer and check it out from top to bottom to make sure the offer is in line with the condition of the home." 

As supervisor of the restaurant´s 200 employees, Frank also developed exceptional communication and negotiating skills. After an offer is presented,Frank takes responsibility for steering the entire buying process to a successful closing. As the point person for the team, he coordinates all showings, schedules inspections, handles all communication with attorneys and other real estate agents, and ensures that the entire transaction, from initial offer through closing, is seamless and stress-free. Throughout the process, he stays in constant contact with clients, updating them on its progress,answering questions and offering guidance.

Choosing to specialize in North Shore real estate was an easy decision for the Capitaninis. "I grew up in River Forest, and we raised our five children in Wilmette," explains Frank. "I understand why so many people want to move to the North Shore. The school systems are incredible. Having the lake at your back door, the historic aspects of the neighborhoods and the ease of traveling into the city are all factors in attracting people to this area. We´re seeing corporate transfers, people wanting a bit more home than they can get in the city, and some long-time residents who are scaling down but still want to live here. It´s a great mix of people."

A dedicated dad, Frank attends his brood´s various activities, coaches his son´s football team and finds time to squeeze three singles tennis games a week into his schedule.

Trish Capitanini calls real estate the most intricate and challenging job she´s ever had. That really means something coming from a woman who raised five children, worked as a visual merchandiser and was actively involved in her community. "When(husband) Frank and I decided to go into real estate, we knew that we had to come up with a concept that was really different from what all the thousands of other agents out there were doing," says Trish. "We committed ourselves to offer exceptional service to buyers and sellers that would make each client feel as though he or she was our only client."

That commitment led to the Capitaninis establishing a full concierge-service real estate agency which promises home buyers and sellers a"seamless experience" from start to finish. Calling on her merchandising experience, along with Frank´s commercial maintenance background,the Capitaninis offer service that´s light years ahead of what people have come to expect from real estate agents.

"We make a huge effort to exceed people´s expectations. Buying and selling homes is a very emotional experience and I understand that," states Trish. "That´s why we truly cater to our clients and commit to following through from start to finish on every detail involved in the transaction.

That follow-through includes Trish and her assistants packing and unpacking, reorganizing furniture, providing community information for new neighborhoods,  running errands and doing anything else necessary to take the burden off buyers and sellers. Trish understands that a woman who is downsizing from her home of 30 years into a condo has different needs from a family with two young children relocating to the North Shore from California.She develops a plan of action for each client and does whatever it takes to make the experience positive and memorable.

Although Trish puts a great deal of energy into her real estate business, this working mom also takes time for herself during which she enjoys walking, bike riding and scrapbooking.
