Gretchen has a varied background, which began with a love of the outdoors, and a background in dance, mountain biking and sports.  With a B.S. in Exercise Technology, Gretchen worked as a personal fitness trainer for 7 years with an emphasis in in-home personal fitness training.  She was a competitive sport climber and was the manager of the first indoor climbing gym in Santa Fe, NM where she also worked as a climbing instructor.  Her outdoor climbing experiences brought her to Europe on two occasions where she had the honor of climbing wiht Lyn Hill, one of the most renowned female climbers.  More recently, she lived for a time in the Middle East and she continues to travel internationally when time permits.

Gretchen has a keen sense of design and she loves working on home renovations. As a result, she has a wonderful ability to work with sellers to help them stage their homes. Gretchen works with sellers to educate them on the market trends and to help them understand what goes into the marketing of their homes. Through the education of her clients, they realize the importance of pricing their property right so that it sells in a quick, efficient manner. Gretchen also loves to work with buyers as she helps them to understand the buying process from start to finish. With her passion and knowledge of design and her background in rehabbing, Gretchen is able to offer clients creative ideas and solutions to help them personalize their properties to fit their personal needs and individual lifestyles.

Gretchen is passionate about her career in real estate and she brings dynamic professionalism to her clients. She has lived in Chicago for 8 years and currently resides in Evanston with her two children.
